Silver has been Senior Director, Regional Access Lead – APAC/China at Pfizer since 2013, based in Hong Kong. He is a member of the Pfizer regional leadership team and responsible for providing strategic & execution support to in-country market access operations in the Asia Pacific/China region. Silver has more than 15 years of pharmaceutical experience in Pricing & Reimbursement, Market Access, Public Affairs and laboratory science.

Silver joined Pfizer Canada in 2003 and has hold positions of increasing responsibility in Canada, USA and HK. As Manager Reimbursement Strategy in Montreal, he led the development & implementation of Market Access plans for new product launches. Silver then moved to Toronto and managed Pfizer’s interactions with Ontario provincial government and key private payers to gain, enhance and protect access to Pfizer products. In 2010, Silver moved to Pfizer’s global headquarters in NY to take on positions in Market Access and Public Affairs supporting the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining Pfizer, Silver was a chemist & manager in analytical laboratories in Beijing and California. Silver obtained his B.S. Chemistry from Peking University (China), MSc. Biochemistry from Auburn University (USA) and MBA from University of Toronto (Canada).
